Baltimore Museum of Art - 5.5 miles

Maryland’s largest art museum showcases collections ranging from ancient mosaics to contemporary art and ever-changing exhibitions. Admission is free.

Tour USS Torsk, last victorious WWII submarine; USCGC Taney, last Pearl Harbor survivor afloat; Lightship Chesapeake, which marked the entrance of the Chesapeake Bay for 33 years; and the 7-foot Knoll Lighthouse, which guided mariners safely into Baltimore Harbor.

Maryland African American History Museum - 2.5 miles

This museum highlights the history and accomplishments of Maryland’s African American community, featuring exhibitions, resource centers, a cafe and a gift shop.

Pride of Baltimore - 2.5 miles

Representative of an 1812-era Baltimore Clipper providing public day sails and is available for group sails/receptions.

American Visionary Art Museum - 3.0 miles

This museum showcases outstanding original works of art created by intuitive, self-taught artists in seven art galleries, outdoor wildflower sculpture gardens, museum store and gourmet restaurant.

Edgar Allen Poe House - 3.0 miles

Poe arrived in Baltimore in 1929 and stayed for a short time with his aunt, Maria Poe Clemm, then returned in 1932 to again live with her at No. 3 Amity Street where he penned several of his short stories. His grave site is nearby.

National Museum of Dentistry - 3.2 miles

See George Washington’s teeth, sing along to vintage toothpaste commercials, and discover fascinating hands-on exhibitions.

Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum - 3.4 miles

A national historic site, this museum is the birthplace of Babe Ruth. See rare artifacts, photos, videos and more; located two blocks from Camden Yards.

Green Mount Cemetary -

Of national historical significance, this cemetary is the final resting place of John Wilkes Booth, Elizabeth Patterson Bonaparte, and more than 65,00 others. The art and architecture alone is worth the visit.

Clifton Park Golf Course - 3.6 miles

The closest of the "Classic 5" Municipal Courses in Baltimore. 18 Holes, Par 71. Grounds Fees, including golf cart: Early Bird $18, Seniors and Regular rates from $28 to $33.  Clifton Park can be troublesome if you cannot avoid the out of bounds, which run through the layout. Plan for uneven lies and paying the price for missing greens with your approach shot. Mount Pleasant Golf Course, a bit further away, is ranked as the 12th Best Municipal Golf Course in the Country by Golfweek Magazine, 2008.
